FAQ

If you have a question that is not answered here,  please don't hesitate to contact me.

  • Where is therapy performed?
I will come to your home at an appointment time that we determine together. I will bring all required supplies.
  • I'm not "homebound." Can I still get therapy in my home?
Yes! By Medicare definition, "homebound" means that it required "considerable and taxing effort" to leave the home. Sometimes someone is not "homebound," but prefers the convenience of having a practitioner come to their home: you don't have to secure transportation, you don't have to go out into the elements, it is simply more convenient. I can treat you in your home whether you are homebound or not homebound under Medicare part B coverage.
  • How do I go about getting therapy in the home?
No MD referral or visit required. Just give me a call and we can schedule an Initial Evaluation at your convenience.
  • Will insurance cover this?
The service I provide is covered under Medicare Part B. I also accept Medicaid, BCBS, and Aetna.
  • I'm a Discharge Planner, Social Worker, Physician or Non-physician provider...how can I get this service for my patient?"
There are a couple options. You can either just give my brochure to the patient and advocate that they call me so that I can schedule an Initial Evaluation with them. OR. You can fax me their demographic information, and I'm happy to reach out and contact them. Either way, if there is a complex medical history or the patient is a poor historian, past medical history and / or a discharge summary is appreciated. Please be aware that Medicare may not cover both Home Health serivces and my services since I'm billing under Medicare Part B.
